Has the reopening of the economy impacted digital media consumption? [downloadable report]

On April 20th, the first of four planned stages of restarting Poland’s economy in the wake of the COVID pandemic began. The lifting of certain pandemic-related restrictions prompted our media experts to conduct an analysis of how the lockdowns have impacted the digital media industry.

Our media department analyzed data from the Gemius PBI research study. They looked closely at three age groups: 7+, 7-15, and 16-49; and examined their behavior on the most popular websites, including news, gaming, and VOD sites.

“The weather and the government’s easing of restrictions have encouraged people to step outside of the online world, but we will always return to it,” says Angelika Dudek, our Digital Media Manager.
